In keeping with a promise to post a cover a day this week, here’s one I recorded right before I left Texas. The constant tinkering noises are courtesy of my niece, Tati, selecting bottles of nail polish to drop from increasing heights. I try to one-take these things, and this should have been re-recorded but how can I when her voice is in it? That bit at the end after the guitar drops out- that’s her saying “here go” which are the only words she knows. (She was handing me a Revlon polish in Frankly Scarlet.)
